ABID Interior Design Excellence Awards 2025
ABID invites Interior Designers and Architects to participate in IDEA – Interior Design Excellence Awards 2025, celebrating and honoring outstanding achievements in Interior Design across Eastern India.
IDEA recognizes and honors projects that push the boundaries of creativity, material innovation, and design ingenuity. This is a Call for Submissions for completed projects that showcase groundbreaking ideas, experimental techniques, and a bold approach to interior spaces & design.
IDEA is more than an award—it is a platform to spotlight emerging young talent and honor the mastery of seasoned professionals. With no restrictions on age or experience, the platform welcomes all practicing Interior Designers and Architects.
Categories
This year, IDEA celebrates the diversity of spaces and the depth of thought designers bring to them. Projects must reflect the impact of design on diverse users and experiences, and should fall under one of the following six broad

A Special Category for Emerging Practice

Eligibility:
Interior Designers and Architects—professionals representing any design practice, including proprietary ownerships, partnership firms, and private or public limited companies—with head offices located in Eastern India are eligible—Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur.
Participation Guidelines
Professionals representing any design practice, including proprietary ownerships, partnership firms, and private or public limited companies—with head offices located in Eastern India are eligible to register. They may submit projects from anywhere in India, as long as the projects were completed between March 2023 and May 2025.
The executed projects may fall under any of the following six broad categories, along with their respective subcategories:
